Whenever I have pho, I think about my little angel. And I think of when she chose Vietnam for the AP World project just so she could bring in pho for the class on the day of the presentation. What a nomtastic meal that even brings back wonderful memories. Now pho brings a giant smile to my face just like it does to hers.

This is worrisome….

Congratulations to the Baltimore Ravens for winning the Super Bowl! Now, can someone tell me where Baltimore is?

The answer is Maryland, by the way.

This past weekend was spent celebrating two very important events: the 2nd Inauguration of President Obama and a three day weekend with my wonderful boyfriend. Oh how time flys when you’re having fun, and somehow weekends with Matt always seem to fly by faster than the rest.
But what can the key ingredient be to these extraordinary weekends? Having an open schedule
Granted heading into the city for inauguration and watching the Patriots game were pre-planned activities, however each morning we would wake up and not quite know where the day would take us. And I found this to be exhilarating!
Watercoloring at Great Falls, chowing down at a Thai restaurant and a trip to the Newseum were all unplanned activities that shaped this weekend into yet another blissful, adventure-packed couple days. I’m looking forward to the next weekend I get to spend with my partner in crime
